Sde Teiman: The Industrialization of Torture


At the center of this horrific campaign is the Sde Teiman military prison, a facility that survivors say was specifically designed for the "breaking of men".

  • A leaked video from July 2024 exposed Israeli soldiers sexually abusing a Palestinian detainee while using riot shields to hide their crimes from security cameras.

  • Detainees arriving at the facility are subjected to what soldiers term a "welcome party," which involves being attacked by dogs and brutally beaten.

    The survivors of these camps carry lifelong physical and psychological scars. Mohammed Zaki Al-Bakri, a civilian education employee from Hamad City in Khan Younis, was abducted in March 2024.


  • Upon his arrest, he was stripped of his name, assigned the number "42," and viciously beaten if he answered to his real name.

  • Mohammed testified to being raped by female soldiers and later by a large military attack dog.
